Green Lantern. He doesn't have to be strong, he doesn't have to be fit. He gets things done by sheer willpower alone.

Female: Growing up I liked Wonder Woman because she was really the only female superhero out there. But I must admit that I always really liked Strom from the X-Men. She kicks butt.

Now this is a hard question. It is hard to deny Superman. He is everything that a hero should be. But Wonder Woman is just as good, although her changes over the years make her less consistent. The Thing has the guts despite getting the short shift of things. More obscure might be Alan Moore's MiracleMan or Nexus. Nightcrawler is the greatest X-Man for me. But I think I am going to choose the one who had to be compared to Superman, Kara Zor-El. Supergirl.
