He's the guy with the bondage/masochism fetish, right?
I keep on seeing these videos with him jumping off a cliff, or being tied up and thrown in the boot of a car, or buried up to the neck in the desert. Weird.
I quite like the music that goes with the music videos, though.

He is? Never seen any of his videos, just heard the music. There is certainly no trace of that kind of thing in his lyrics that I've been able to detect.

Maybe the fetish is not with him, but with whoever directs his videos (or maybe his director just really doesn't like him). I suspect a first-album artist doesn't have a lot of creative control in that area.
