It's interesting that although the summers are very short up there, you've got nearly constant daylight to help make the most of them.

...not sure how that works with sleeping though. I guess you can do that in the winter. *grin*

Are there any rehab areas within distance you can take him too? That way he can grow up with other squirrels and have a good chance of surviving on his own.
Being raised alone by a human can have the possibility of turning him into a pest animal because he could possibly be too overly friendly with humans.

Either way poor baby guy.

i went to the pound and animal control in the area and they said there was nothing that they were able to do for him :(

Ours are the same way. Luckily n Colorado animal rehab centers are in abundance. Good luck with him.
