The King's Speech was awesome! We watched all the extras too.

As well as strawberries I got lettuce and spinach and tomatoes and pears.

Ahem. Going to attempt writing, then reward self with GoT finale. Sanctuary finale will tivo. Some other time :)

I want to see Thor, but managed not to and I'm not sure it's still in the cinema. Saw X Men on Wednesday and absolutely loved it! Haven't seen The King's Speech, but hopefully will one day.

A 70 mile bike ride is really impressive! Good luck!

I loooved Doctor Who. Watched all 7 episodes in about half a week, but it was so good.

Thor and XMen might have to wait for hbo, as I only seem to manage a movie in actual theatre every few months. And Harry Potter shall take priority, obviously.

I do highly recommend the King's Speech - watched it last night with mom and still in the brain!

Oh yes you must read the books. That way next season you won't be part of the twitterverse explosion after the second to last episode. ;) But yes the writing, particularly the characterization is very good. Especially in book three. *sighs* Oh, Jaime...

thats an excellent set of qualities, characterization is really important for books like that. where i am with the story now i could never like jaime at all. all i want is for more people to strike him in the head with rocks. i have heard he gets more likeable though...

After a certain incident in the 3rd book, jaime becomes my fav - I am a complete sucker for redeemable bad guys. I'm actually looking way more forward to season 3 than two! Also Tyrion is a fav, but from Day One. Peter Dinklage played him so well!
