Go Steph! I'm very impressed with a 70 mile bike ride. I hate riding without my bike computer, so I know how annoying that must have been when it stopped working!

I went over another bump and it started working again, way toward the end. So if you believe the computer I only went 18 miles :-/, however it was good to see my speed when I got my third wind - I had it up to 17mph at one point! (generally I'm about 10. Hence all the passing)

At least it's not properly broken then!

I can do fast down a hill (the one from my flat has me getting up to 26mph before I have to hit the brakes... and it's not a very long hill! Just steep!). My average is normally 10-12mph, but I can get a nice 14-16mph going on a flat road. Though it's amazing how rare flat roads actually are!

10mph is a pretty good clip though, especially for a 70 mile ride!

the beautiful thing about Long Island is that it is incredibly flat. Sounds like we'd be pretty compatible riding buddies!
