Goodnight Irene, or How I spent my Hurricane Vacation

So, yeah, we had a hurricane. Or tropical storm now. With no trains or buses, everything canceled, and Jumper One in the prime spot on the street carefully calculated to be at the furthest point from every tree, there was no place to go. Really glad to hear you're okay - and that the whole area seems to be pretty much intact. My mother was watching the coverage nonstop, and it was all making things sound much scarier all over the place.

Stay safe! And don't swim or fly anywhere I wouldn't! ;)

Upstate got it way worse with the flooding, and my parents have no power still, but we got off pretty easy, especially with apocalypse that was predicted!
