Welcome! My official craziness doesn't start until the 17th but I'm currently being inundated with students who (a) have suddenly decided they wanted to go to graduate school or (b) students who are only now trying to register - registration opened in November - and are all upset they can't get X number of hours so they *whine* won't get their financial aid */whine*.

Poor planning...and you know the rest :).

When I hear friends who work at colleges talking about the students I feel like such an old fogey, b/c wow, when I was in school it was a completely different world. I start sounding like my father. "Back in my day..."

I'm thinking health care was simpler back then too...

Yiiiiikes, holy crap. O___o Having a job is great and all, but there are definitely lots of thing worth ranting about when you're put into a position like that! Having done a bit of very easy office supply ordering at my old crap-job, and having dealt with the ensuing expense reports and yadda yadda… eugh. :(

Hope the extracurricular pancakes/HP/other assorted awesomeness makes up for at least a little of that! ♥

On the bright side I earned enough money in December to sell my soul to amazon all over again :) And so far the state has not caught me without my ID :-" Now if I could just get the correct kind of bandage tape...

Eugh, it doesn't sound great on the work front :( And it's ridiculous how they seem to think that people can do someone else's full time job on top of their own job for no extra money. Sadly, the same seems to be happening over here with the NHS - and sadly it's the nurses who bare the brunt of it.

we're the ones that are not expendable, b/c they can't outsource dressing changes! So they are getting rid of everyone else.

Ahh work frustrations are never fun *hugs*

I almost got to see the ball drop live but we opted out because we didn't want to be stuck outside for hours on end. So we watched it on TV and turned it off after the clock struck 12 :D

Hope you had a lovely weekend and have a great (and hopefully not too crazy) week ahead!
