Gaelic Storm at KCKC Irish Fest!
I am sitting on theyllek's porch, typing on my netbook and blasting irish music on the ipod player to drown out the rap music coming from the car across the street. I brought my whistle out here, but it's a bit windy to play it. This is a nice wooden porch for dancing tho...

Goodnight Irene, or How I spent my Hurricane Vacation
So, yeah, we had a hurricane. Or tropical storm now. With no trains or buses, everything canceled, and Jumper One in the prime spot on the street carefully calculated to be at the furthest point from every tree, there was no place to go. I am a bad fan
I just turned down Mets tickets for tonite.
This is the first evening I've been home alone since last... hmmm. Might have been the 5th of July. I have big plans for sushi and catching up on the dvr.
So I said no.
Maybe it will thunderstorm during the game and I will feel justified.
