Thank you! But don't worry about your teeth - normal snark will resume in the next chapter.

I like the odd bits of domesticity you put in, it's not just schmoop but them learning to rub on well together.

Well, that's idea, anyway - but they're boys, and there's a lot of "ignoring anything that might be emotional" to get through before the end.

*G* "Domestic Goddess" Better than drug addict! I especially liked the the contrast between Rory's family (beaten severely by his father) and Charlie's (warm and loving... except for his absolute prick of a brother).

So glad you posted! I made myself wait a couple of days to check on Monaboyd, to be sure there'd be something new to read - and if it wasn't for you, there wouldn't have been!

Thank you for the comment. I have to say that I did not deliberately set out to do a "compare and contrast" exercise - the whole families thing just evolved, totally independently. I was actually trying to work out the dependency/enabling aspects of their relationship this morning on the way to work, and I still don't think I understand it consciously yet - I just know it works for them.

Surely other people are posting to Monaboyd? I bet we get a few more stories next week when people have processed the Billy-squee from ELF.

*G* From the strange stories I heard, I think many stories will be inspired...!

I'm glad you're thinking about that side of their relationship... it's not an easy one, that's for sure.
