Hopelessly in love with these two (Rory and Charlie)!
(Two things you might want to correct, though - it's Tuesday 24 (not 23) and this sentence from Tuesday sounded strange since, Monday night, Rory fell asleep before he and Charlie could have sex: "And last night - well, last night Charlie could have sworn that Rory had kissed him on the shoulder after he'd come - but common sense disagreed." Perhaps you made a change in Monday after writing Tuesday?)
Like the realness of it - the dole, wondering what to eat, trying to stay on Rory's good side - all of it!
There, there, now - it's not the End of All Things, just of the Debts, Dates and Denial component. And if you can come up with a suitable three-word title for a sequel you'll get a cookie.
They'd be home soon enough, and he could deal with it there.
Correction - they'd be at Rory's flat soon enough.
poor Charlie. I'm sure it does feel like home.
I like how savvy Charlie is, that he can pick up the subtle shifts in moods between Ken and Chris, and knowing something was up, he fell back into a deferential mode. He'll make such a good partner for Rory, in the long run. *wink* (hey, a girl can dream, right??)
Rory had suddenly said he just wanted some time on his own after Charlie's constant presence for the past ten days.hmmm... could it be that Rory is too attached to Charlie, and he's afraid he's going to miss him when he's gone, so he has to send him away just so he can prove to himself he can let him go? (not like I expect you to tell me or anything... ) *grin

Well, there are only 4 more chapters of DDD, then there'll be an epilogue (which will be posted a few weeks later, I'm afraid - it's the only thing that isn't finished and I want it to be really good). After that, I have 60,000 words of C100 prompts to organise - not a structured narrative, just isolated scenes. Among the prompts there are a couple of story arcs that I would dearly love to make into a proper sequel, but I'm honestly not sure that I can afford the time - this story has eaten up a year of my life, and I've put off a few things that should have been done. The trouble is, if I post the prompts just as they are now, I'll never write the sequel. *sigh*
this story has been wonderful, but we don't have the right to ask more from you than you're willing to give. writing shouldn't be a burden for you. if you choose to continue this AU, i'm sure you'll have some serious happy readers, but if you decide to focus on something different that would be totally fine as well.
Thank you for the kind words. I do need to take a break from it anyway (I have a wee bit of Beckett/Norrington slash in mind as a palate-cleanser) and then I have a vampire AU WIP, and two more stories in the conceptual stage - a Restoration AU with Dom as a quasi-Rochester figure (only nicer and with a happy ending), and a modern-day piracy/Interpol AU. Maybe I should do a poll, like pippinmctaggart did the other day.
I really hate Liam. He's such a weasel! Rory and Chris should give him a once over just for being a liar. I can't wait to see what happens when Rory finds out, because I know that he will. The next 7 days will be interesting. BTW, I love the internal conversations that Charlie is having with himself about his feelings. Poor thing. He really has it bad, doesn't he?
