no good deed, etc.

I believe that I, like Jane Tennison, have made an error in judgment. (No, NOT the same one she made!) Several months ago I became friends with someone who is relatively new to the city, and in fact to life on her own. She's a lot younger than I am, and very sweet and a little naive. Recently I saw that she was becoming very close to someone I've ( Read more... )

That last one
****THUD******

Thanks for those Taye. Love em!
You know what, you did what was right, you were helping a friend and I commend you for that, even if she isn't very happy about it right now.

When/if she gets hurt she will remember what you said and she'll know you are a true friend and you'll be someone that she can, hopefully, lean on when she's sadder but wiser. Good for you for following your gut and doing the HARD thing when it would have been easy to ignore it and let her just make her own mistakes.

HUGS YOU!

p.s. Yay about that thing you talked about............don't want to jinx it ....shhhhhhhh

Hi, you.

I hope you are having a lovely day. The great deluge has begun here, so I'm off to build myself an ark and float to the coffee place. There I will attempt actually to do... work. Sorry to hear you will be spending your London money on a stupid ol' ROOF!

*gah* Taye, I'm supposed to be doing Biopsychology (what the hell is wrong with me?) homework. WAY 2 DISTRACT ME, lol. Wouldn't have it any other way though!

Ah, yes, about the friend. I'm afraid there's not much one can do in those situations. As you said, she'll just have to discover it on her own. Yet, at least you gave her fair warning.

XO

It's worth pointing out that the first picture was taken in Munich, at some random bookstore which just happened to have that book on top of a display outside the store.

I'm reading :).

Good for you for warning your friend. You did what you did for the best and it's up to her to take heed of the warning and if she isn't she'll have to find out for herself.
