Isn't it? I think I'm going to start regularly reading (as much as I can...with the Middle English) this blog. I mean, Sir John Mandeville is a contributor! They even make Napoleon-Dynamite-esque Chaucer for Parliament shirts. When are you coming back to Jersey?
Hello! See, I'm so cool I have TWO blogs. I finally started reading the book you lent me. I finished the Pine Barrens book yesterday--it ended abruptly and I wish that there was an afterword or something since it's been FORTY YEARS since the book was written and some things have changed...but the horrendous development he foresees hasn't quite happened. There's no "jetport" in the Pine Barrens. Oops, I didn't mean to go on and on in a LJ comment. Anyway, I read about a page of The Orchid Thief in the car before I had to assist with navigating. We were taking 611 to Allentown...basically driving along the NJ-PA border for an hour. Knowing that cheaper gas was just on the other side of that river. So far I like it!
