It's been a while since I posted. Unlike my friend carmen_queasy, I have not been quietly stalking LJ. It's been a while since I read. Sorry! Anyway, I'm posting because I don't want to overwhelm Twitter with my silliness.

You'll have to let me know what you think of Avatar. I'm pondering either going by myself or taking Jonas. I think he'd enjoy it.

I liked Avatar. I thought it was entertaining and engaging. There were some cool concepts (neural network theory), too. Unfortunately, it's basically a more beautiful Fern Gully (if you saw that movie). But that doesn't mean it's bad. It's long but I don't think it felt that long. I suggest you see it. It's exciting enough to keep Jonas interested.

I heard good things about Inkheart as a book, but now I'm glad I never saw the movie. Hope you enjoy Avatar - I've heard very mixed things and I'm interested in your opinion.

I liked Avatar. See my comments to Trisha above. It's a beautiful world and it's fun even though it's a rehash of Ferngully. I don't really have a critical analysis. Apparently it's racist? Oh and the blue people are the American Indians, FYI. And I have some thoughts about the ending I'll discuss with you once you've seen it.

I saw it in 3D...I don't know if it added anything.
