Shit! I was supposed to tape D.P.O. at midnight for someone (not an fan) and forgot. I suck at the fan converting. I faaaaaail! No one would happen to have a .mpg (or any ol' format) of it, oh would they? Would they?
tsk, tsk, eloise! we must be diligent if we want to convert! none of this forgetting to tape stuff!
wish I could help though.. :( I've got it on my s3 DVDs, but I don't know how to make a copy or anything.. can I even? if I can, I will! but I don't know how.
yeah, DPO just aired here too.. hm.. well, TNT and WGN (here, at least) are on s2 right now ("Firewalker" just aired last Sat.) so if you wait around awhile (and assuming they keep going in order) DPO'll be back!
Nah, it's okay I found an .avi file on my computer I forgot I had. I know you can make copies of dvds somehow but I have yet to do it successfully with mine. Thanks though.
I just finished watching it. It's such a lame episode I was laughing so hard. Oi. It's only for the Jack Black and Giovanni Ribisi guest starring that I bother at all. I think I need a better arsenal if I'm going to actually convert my friend.
ROFL, yeah, when I read your LJ post I was like, "Why is she converting her friend with DPO??" I think you have to already be a fan to appreciate it.. my cousin and I watched it together a few weeks ago and now he still randomly yells out, "MRS. KIVEAT!!" it's funny, no one else in my family gets it but they all yell it now. we're so weird. *dies*
I converted Jess with "Small Potatoes." well, she'd actually seen some before that, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back. so to speak. ;) And with Jenneca, I gave her "bad blood" first, then "small potatoes"- then I loaned her the first two discs of my s6 DVDs so she could watch the Dreamlands, and she ended up watching every ep on those discs (except 'The Beginning' which I told her not to watch) and ended up loving them.. and the rest is history. ;)
Well my friend and I are big time Jack Black fans, and I told her one day I'd get her that ep with him. I didn't tell her about my secret plan to hook her as well, of course. Such... a bad... episode omgggggg. Bwah. And I know I love the- "Mrs. Kiveat!" and the lame ass honky tonk accent. So very bad. (As I might have mentioned.) And Mulder's horrible jokes too, aaaaaaugh I want to kill him sometimes! But ah, the love. :P (At least Darin Morgan was still around too.)
I hooked my sister with "Bad Blood." Always a good one. Sometimes our show is just too serious for itself. :P
