Yeah, I'm alive. I'm actually working on part of my drawing final right now, as goes my endless cycle of homework. Anyway, since I NEED to procrastinate from that (WAY SCARY), I'm here. OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD you are liek a fucking genius. seriously. cuz dude what IS all that shit man???? you're fucking NUTS. the oil work is just gorgeous, the sketches are fantastic. i am totally loving that blue box-and-skirt thing, it's nice and serene LIKE A GENTLE BREEZE BWAHAHAHHA. oh my. yes. i want to be you when i grow up. yuh huh.

Wow Katie, everything just keeps getting better. I love the sketches and the blue painting as well as the first oil. I would post a longer comment, but my Stanford essay is looming...I can't wait until you come visit. Now I really want to visit you...

Ohh essaysssszzzzz. I want to ask you about college stuff, but I'm sure that's for damn sure THE LAST thing you'd want to talk about. I remember that much about last year. I don't remember much, but I have that clear.

Thanks verreh much, I hate school so much sometimes, but there are those times you just feel so... right? somewhere? Yeah. So fucking art school then. It's a dumb institution and kind of pointless, but... hey. Whatever.

If you come here ever, you're getting dragged to Atomic Books and every fucking record store, this much is CERTAIN OMG.

dude you're aliiiive! and you make me want to become a graphic designer more, too! WOOT! although I suck at painting like THIS much, because I've never actually painted hahaha! BUT, that blue one is absolutely lovely, and the illustrator work in AWESOME I want to do something like that, too!

Dude! Cool! Try painting! And try Illustrator! It's alright, I'm just feel soooo safe in my little Photoshop bubble that anything new is scary, you know, but yeah. I dunno, I suck so badly right now and I'm so intimidayed by it, but I still recommend it.

so I have a question for you: did you ever get seriously homesick? I want to move out of state, and luckily for me I live in the center so I can't really move ACROSS country cause I think that would scare me.. did you have any problems with it?

I have X-Files on ze brainz, don't ya know? Always. Except you know, when I'm asleep. Possibly.

I haven't gotten homesick persay, just more like, 'damn I wish we had this here and that here!' Or I miss my friends, A LOT. I think, 'Goddamn! Where's so and so right now, she'd love this! Oh, right, GAAAAAAH!' I am happy to be going home for Christmas, but I don't NEED to go home. I'm not a homebody though, I have a friend who is, and she missed home a lot in the beginning, but she's better now. You miss it though, sometimes, because living at school no matter what is lame and shitty, but I mean, you're not alone in the way you feel, so that's comforting.

Dude! Cool, send it whenever. It's not like anything I ever do is known for being on time either. I was going to send you those X-Files books oh, HOW long ago? ;)

(Just for the record, which ones do you have already?)

sometimes I dream about XF, so maybe it's on my brain even in sleep. (But not last night, because I had a nightmare involving Calculus, a test, and my evil english teacher, heheh.)

rofl, I had totally forgotten about the XF books!! I have Antibodies and Whirlwind.. lol, that amused me. I think I'll have to send stuff when you're home because this week is finals week which equals me getting nothing else done.
