Like it, like the pace, the emotion, the sense of a journey that leads them to that point ”Over Clark's shoulder, Lex saw their reflection in the mirror. Twined together, pieces of a puzzle, fingers spread and curves matching everywhere. Even the shadows of their muscles seemed to blend into one continuous gray. Like they were one. Like the sense of belonging, and most of all, like the sense of a destiny they have, even if they don’t really know the magnitude of it, even if it’s not the same destiny that we know, even if it’s not the same destiny they imagine. But it’s there and it lingers under the skin of them. They sense it, but can’t really recognize the extent of it, but in this story, as some of the other you have written, they are in the beginning of the journey of recognition and maybe acceptance

Oh by the way, talking about “feeling”, well, better later than ever: I love that sex scene in the last one of the “there” series, is one of the best I ever read. Jesus, every time I read it, my God, I think I am a Kink girl phone. lol .

God, you always make me feel this sparking connection between them, and the pain you have Lex go through brings everything else that happens into even sharper focus.

You have their odd rhythm down so well with these lines:

Whenever Lex noticed things were becoming awkward between them again, he made sure they never stayed that way for long. Clark gave him clues, a subtle avoidance of eye contact, a quietness to his voice, and Lex turned it around, bringing them back from complication to the easy rules of friendship.

So very Lexian. And just that one word - "Stay." Says such volumes. Not an admittance of defeat or lack of restraint but just...enough. You always make me love them both so much more with your stories for all the emotional sacrifices they make for each other.

Oh, and killer sexiness here. Need ice. Now. *g*
