One thing I absolutely do not relish about doing comics again is not being able to sleep because lines of dialogue and potential situations are running through my head. Getting ideas is nice and everything, but not at 2:17 AM. I could just ignore them, but I've lost a plethora of wonderful ideas because I didn't commit them to paper before I

I am the exact same way with my writing. I'll try to go to sleep, and then have a great idea for a short story, or a novella, or a character who just begs to be written about. It's a hard fight, but I usually managed to drag myself out of bed to scribble it all down before going to bed again.

Depending on my mood, I'll get out of bed to write it down or just toss around restlessly for awhile.

I used to have a little notebook and a pad of sticky notes. I'll probably have to pick up a notebook again before I go insane.
