... it's available for download?? I wonder if I can convince Ryan to get it for me, since I still have dial-up at home and am not comfortable enough in work to illegally download things yet.

meh, i wasn't as impressed as a lot of people I guess. I thought that while the CG was done well the story was crap and too rushed.

I didn't like the over-use of slow-down speed-up and flashy bursting and what not. It seemed to be an attempt to cover up poorly done movement during the fights (much like in live action movies where they use camera tricks to cover up an actor who isn't that good at martial arts). The fighting movements just seem too stiff and jerky a lot of the time.

The CG was pretty (again you'll notice the best looking CG is when a character is completely motionless other than the wind moving their clothing/hair, I don't think they did movement of the models incredibly well and used effects to cover it up) but I thought the movie was incredibly weak otherwise but maybe I was just expecting too much by thinking it'd be more than "dude look at this freakin sweet CG! zOMG!"

Yeah, I'm definitely not claiming that the story for AC is award-winning by any stretch of the imagination. This movie is definitely going for the fanboy/fangirl in everyone by going back to ye olde sentimental favorites and bringing those characters back to the fore one more time ( ... )

i just wanted more story less action. I really liked the video game, I was pretty huge into it to the point of doing everything and unlocking everything... except ruby weapon or something, the underwater one, i never did that successfully. back to topic >.>

I seem to recall the video game had a decent story that was fairly involved, just would have liked to see more of that.

Man, seems like everyone and their mother has already seen it. I'm too lazy to look for it though. And busy.
