It's one of those "stalling for time" tactics when I'm trying to think of what to say next. I should probably rehearse these so I don't sound like such a ninny, but I think they're more fun when they're spontaneous.

But, yeah, I talk like a Valley Girl when I'm not paying strict attention to my own speech patterns. XD

Yeah, that's another really bad habit of mine. I usually have to pay very strict attention to moderate my pace when I'm speaking in public. Maybe I should rehearse these phone posts instead of doing them on the fly.

I thought maybe it was 'something my hands', perhaps 'effing kills my hands'? But that's just from sounding out what you sounded out. I never actually listen to these things.
