I cannot wait to geek out properly over the book in person. I think the height of it will occur when my friend Kristen (who read the entire book in Britain, finishing about 7 minutes before it would have been released in her home of California) arrives in Boston on Thursday.

I've given up on Robert Jordan. Couldn't even finish reading Winter's Heart. I just got tired of never getting any resolution whatsoever.

Zoe: see above.

I always get dragged back into Jordan eventually, and I remember reading somewhere that Jordan stated that the next book would be the last even if it ended up being 2000 pages long.

The thought has occurred to me. And since I'm learning how to knit I'd be able to make my own scarf. :)

2000 pages? That's crazy! What the man needs is a better editor.
