Console Gaming!

So, I finally broke down and bought an X-Box 360.  I'm glad I waited until they ironed out the kinks of the first generation models, because they definitely had a plethora of problems.  I grabbed it in anticipation of the soon-to-come releases of Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata, and I'll also eventually want it for Halo 3 and Fallout 3.  I picked up

Eternal Sonata looks great and Blue Dragon looks kinda neat too.

When the price of a second controller goes down, i might pick up DOA4. My friends and I had mad fun in number 2. :)

I wasn't a very big fan of DoA2. The counter + reversal system they had in place was far too powerful, and a lot of the time skilled players would just stand around not doing anything, trying to counter each other. It made for some boring matches where both fighters would turtle rather than risk getting countered. It's toned down now and much better balanced in DoA4.

I played some DOA2 but I'm more of a Soul Calibur freak.

I haven't signed up for Live yet, but I'll let you know when I do! Even when I was playing regular X-Box, all my multiplayer gaming was done locally.
