I must admit i am intrigued by the old school looking nature of Blue Dragon (The combat system also looks spiffy). I'll have to see if i can get it here for below $110 - $120 (what they charge us for new releases these days down under).

The charge-time system of the game is actually really nice. It adds a tactical component to the game but doesn't add a real-time component, it actually makes it a mix of timing and strategy. Also, I love the character-building in the game, it's pretty much lifted right out of Final Fantasy Tactics -- a game which I wished was a man, so I could fly to Sweden to become a woman and eventually have his babies.

I must admit I am intrigued by the idea of a action-RTS-CCG-RPG-dating-sim-foot-massager.

Oh, I remember that game! I have a hard time going back and playing old platform games, normally becauase I don't want to spend the necessary time to get insanely good at them again to beat them.

Yeah, I'd missed this one the first time around, despite being a Genesis kid, so there's no "again" there for me.
