I started playing Lost Odessey yesterday. It's gorgeous! And I quite like the fighting system.

Yeah, I know a lot of people knocked the game for having an old-fashioned combat system, but that's one thing I really like about it. I enjoyed the faster-paced action-oriented combat in Eternal Sonata and Mass Effect also but it's nice to go back to menus, too. I also think ring targeting and the GC system are nice additions.

What's your instrument of choice on Rock Band?

I like to rock out on the guitars but I usually get stuck on drums because I'm one of two people in our social group who can pass the songs on Hard.

P.S. I really want to buy a house but I'd be a fool not to wait for the housing market to completely bottom out in a year.
