Seeking LARP Costuming!
In a few weeks, there is the Aralis one-day, which is a fey masquerade ball. Being a youngish (okay, young) LARPer, I find myself looking at a poor man's costuming closet- and despairing. Hoping to have a nice look without exploding on or from monies, I'm hoping to borrow costuming bits and am willing to entertain your ideas for the masquerade costume given the few I have. The general themes of the masquerade are fey and fantastical, allowing for a wide range of styles (plain fantasy, arabic, and japanese).
For the character I play, I am personally striking for general themes of darker, more metallic colors (brass, grey, black) rather than bright in color, but otherwise open to anything you happen to have. So if you happen to have any of the following 'fancy LARP clothes'...
* A shirt.
* Something over the shirt.
* Accouterments/extras
... and willing to let me borrow, I would be very grateful. I'm of course happy to drive or coordinate pick up to minimize logistics on your end. Just drop a comment/e-mail and we'll work from there!

* Gold skin paint.
* Chain links.
