Letter to Jinx (locked)
Dear Jinx,
Though I was just in contact with you the other day, I hope this letter finds you well. Lately, the HIVE Five has been building up the hideout location that Gizmo procured for us. I've got my own room there - it's strange, but I've barely been in my own apartment since after we got back from Brother Blood's island base except to move some of my things into my room in the hideout. Someone has to be the responsible one of the group while you are absent, I suppose. Everyone is well, and taking some much needed downtime (aside from the work on the hideout).
Enclosed is the promised package. Inside, you'll find the news reports on what happened at the Madisons', the police reports, photos of ground zero, and copies of the rather extensive school record of Rose Madison. There were no school records to be found before a certain time, and there aren't any health records available. The lack of early school records is less of an issue - it's possible that Rose was homeschooled. The health record was definitely deleted, either by her or by Slade himself.
I've highlighted anything of interest with blue post-it notes, including the amount of suspensions Rose has gotten due to fighting with students and for defiance to authority. I've also got a few places on the reports from guidance counsellors marked - those ones, I think, are rather telling. Additionally, she seems to be a very bright young lady (and I do use the term lady loosely when referring to Miss Madison). If you are doing any further investigation, please be careful.
I've also included a set of six small devil's teeth throwing knives. The sheath includes a large loop on the back, so there are a number of places you can conceal them. The easiest is on your belt, with a coat on. If you'd like, when I visit you next, we can find somewhere to practice with them.
