Check out this sweet camera that Mike Schnabel got for me at a thrift store....the thing is way old...it feels like it weighs five pounds...and the settings and knobs are odd....and when you load film into it(it takes 35mm) you close the camera and reel out all the film into the camera, so as you take pictures you wind it back into the film casing

That IS sweet! It's looks just like the cameras you always see 1930s/40s reporters using in movies and old press/newsreels.

yeah....acctually right after I posted this entry I got on Yahoo and searched the brand name....it is made by a company called Argus...I hadn't heard of them before, but they are an American camera maker and they still make cameras today, they had a lot of digitals on thier site....anyway...this one here was made in 1938, and I even found a manuel that I could print out...so now I can learn how to load the film and use it properly...

Wow those cameras look old. Are they really expensive? I've been wanting to get a camera but they're like $20.00 almost wherever I go.

I know Naty because we grew up in the same area...I live on the plains of North Dakota, and since I knew Naty growing up, I eventualy met Mel through her...my name is Aaron....and I like cocktail shrimp...

ah i see. well i grew up with melody. and eventually met naty through mel. now she is dating my brother. naty, not mel... shes an old married woman.
i hate shrimp... and that was totally irrelevant.
