Following one comment I encountered recently I feel I ought to explain that my LJ diary has been in a "friends-only" mode from the start, that's how it was intended; and please don't  be offended by this  - it's just my personal policy.  However, if you do wish to take part in my journal's "life", please let me know via ICQ or just leave a comment
