This is how I make gifs from videos in PS. Just be sure to follow step 7.5 instead of 7. CS5 animation isn't that much of a change from CS3 and 4 from what I remember, so you should be good to go.
The only thing is you might have to reverse them in the animation menu (just go to the menu [it's three little bars just below the X] and click reverse frames) IDK if you will for sure, but that's how it is on the CS3 on my mac after I turn layers to frames.
