Second Crash [Action]

Dec 28, 2011 00:43

[It's early morning, and Ginji's got the window thrown wide open and a warm jacket tossed on over his pajamas. No cold and no snow is going to stop him! He's been trying out the present he got from Luke, but his bedroom just isn't big enough - not with all the shelves and charts he's begun to accumulate. So Ginji props his elbows on the sill, ( Read more... )

[Sup Broji. So. Ion was just taking a nice walk walk around the village, minding his own business. He was going a little slower than usual because of all the snow, but he'd been spending more than enough time cooped up inside lately, so he wasn't about to let that stop him!]

[So, here we are. Walking, walking, nothing bad is happening--]

[Whoa! A dragon. Ginji can't say he's ever seen one of them up close - usually he's busy with repairs and doesn't have to worry much about larger monsters.]

[But there's a guy in the snow, and that's kind of a problem, too.]

S-sorry...! Do you need a hand?

[Eyes to dragon. To Hiccup. To dragon. There's not a wrench in the apartment big enough to take that thing on if it tries to eat him... So Ginji is left leaning awkwardly out of the window in a moment's hesitation, not quite sure of what to do.]

[Deadpan scowls he is used to, fire... well, he's not too hot on the fire-through-the-roof idea. So it's a good thing Hiccup manages to recover in time. He still looks worried, though.]

Yes, it was a present. I thought I'd try it out today, but... [But it crashed?]

[Okay, so the last thing Otonashi was expecting on his stroll around the village was a helicopter falling from the sky and hitting him right in the face. So when it does... wow that is quite a surprise and damn did that hurt or what.]

What the fu-- W-where did that come from?!

[This weather's really not helping a whole lot. Maybe he should have chosen a less blustery day for flying, but he was just so excited to try out his new toy.]

[And there she goes again. Talk about bad luck! The aircraft lands nose down in the snow and Ginji visibly winces from his spot at the window.]

Sorry!! It's from over here.

[That just makes for an even more epic adventure for the helicopter! But ow. Paaaaain. It was a direct hit.. Otonashi looks over in Ginji's direction, rubbing his head.]

Oh. [..Sounds like it was an accident, then.] It's alright! That just... Damn that hurt...

[Epic adventure? More like an epic crash.]

Sorry about that, I guess I was a little too caught up in the controls. Do you need some help?

[Or a first aid kit? Hot cocoa? Whatever the case, Ginji's looking concerned - not for the downed toy, which can be fixed, but for the guy he unwittingly just punched in the face with a plane.]

[--and now Ginji will have threaded with all of my characters..?!

LUCKILY FOR ATSURO he doesn't get hit in the face by the helicopter. He was able to catch a quick glimpse of it before it hit him, so he moved out of the way juuuust in time. That's not to say that it didn't catch him off guard regardless though, 'cause, well... tripping while dodging that thing, brb.]

W-woah...!

[Haha...sorry...? OTL]

Ah!! Watch out! [This is really a lot harder than it looks, and there's just not much of a happy medium when it comes to miniature controls. It's a good thing he reacted in time! But-- oops... Ginji'll just barely manage to swerve the helicopter away from a tree and land it on top of a pile of snow.]

Sorry about that. I didn't hit you, did I? [Wouldn't be the first time today.]

[nono it's a good thing! fgkasfsakhska

After Atsuro hits the ground and when he sits back up, he just watches as the helicopter flies away and lands on the snow pile. He then looks over at Ginji when he speaks up.]

Huh? O-oh... It's fine! I got away in time, anyway. [At least the snow cushioned his fall too.]

[Oooookay then!]

Still, it's because of me that you landed in the snow.

[And man does he know how that feels. He's slipped more than a few times since arriving in Luceti - and while exciting, it's not exactly the best time he's ever had.]

Could I at least get you a hot cocoa or something?

[Walking around, minding his own business, SUDDENLY HELICOPTER.

James blinks at the rapidly approaching aircraft before snagging it out of the air before it can run into his face.]

...That could of hurt.

[Let's find your owner, little helicopter.]

[You have to hand it to the guy, he's got great reflexes grabbing a helicopter out of thin air like that! Even if it's just a toy. Maybe Ginji needs to look into tweaking the controls a little to make up for his poor flying performance today.]

[He'll wave his arm at James from his spot at the window.]

Sorry, that was my fault!

[Excellent reflexes hone by having a violent younger sister.

James spots the young man waving from a nearby window and walks on over.]

No harm done. First time flying one?

[Oh boy, that sounds tough.]

Well, that's a relief. [Ginji laughs lightly, but he's a little embarrassed that it went so badly. And that he almost collided with someone [again]. After all that flight training, too...]

It's the first time I've flown a toy airship, at least. It's different from the real thing.
