MyParentsAreCrazierThanYours.com

Seriously, go read, and start at the beginning, back at the end of January.

She's 40, Jewish, single, unemployed, and has a broken arm. She is a poet, and, on the day she started her blog, moved back in with her parents into her childhood home on Long Island.

So unbelievable I hope it's fiction.

I changed my post. Not only is it not fiction, a lot of it is reminiscent of my childhood and adulthood with my parents. Other than the crazy relatives.

Yeah, I assume that it IS real, but that makes me sad, a) because that is a hellish place to try to pull one's life together, and b) that means that she is unlikely to be able to publish this and make the NY Times bestseller list.

Ah well... at least she has us to commiserate with!

Why can't she publish? If it's truth, there's no slander.
And yeah... it's a very hard place to try and heal one's soul.

Well, she could, but since she says that her father would kill her if he found out about the blog...

She loves these people, even if they are crazy.
