Oh yay! I'm glad it all went so well; I was thinking of you guys in the pouring rain this weekend.

I really wish I could've gone, I first learned about it at Panteria and it sounds like so much fun! But this weekend was literally the only free weekend in June, and it would've been much too hectic for us :(

Hopefully next year though =D

Mark it on your mental calendar now! Besides the four of us, only three other VTers were there at all, and they all day tripped! This event was WAY too much fun to miss, and there were dogs there for Bella to play with, too!

Oh awesome! =D That's nice to know that they're dog friendly :)

I especially wanted to see if I could show off my own device colours and such (since I hear that's one of the focuses of the event), and to try my luck at submitting my illuminations in the A&S competition too :)

As it stands, I might not be going to the convention in Pittsburgh next year (I might take a break from it...depending on how my sales are this year), so if that's the case, we can definitely go then :) And...hopefully the convention in Montreal won't conflict it with being on the same weekend >.>

Each contrada has their own heraldry, but Sole is all about the purple, so join them!

The A&S show was awesome. I entered some of my handsewn garments!

HUZZAH!!!!!! Though I must admit I've been making plans anyhow. I knew you could all make it work. :-)

I shall now pack in earnest. Will there be room for the mattress? Not the cot. Just the mattress. Other than that it's just the one garb bag and my meds and walker. Oh... I'll have a freezer bag as well. I pay for me and Ernie's camp fees with bacon and a case of Cdn. coke usually. :-)

We obviously need to take your walker so you can get out of the freaking car, but if someone else could take your mattress, that would be a big plus. As it is, we're going to need to enlist someone tall to help unload the roof rack when we get there, since I can't reach it!

I'll see what I can do for the mattress. Or, I might just buy a new one when Ernst and I go for dinner. :-) I need a new one for Pennsic anyhow... gonna use the two. I'm sure Ern can take it with him to Pennsic for me. :-) Yup. That's what I'm gonna do. :-)

I will find us help for all the unloading,at both our camps. :-)

Do the kids have lanterns and stuff? I have two red Ikea lanterns for the girls, if you're okay with them having enclosed flame and I want to get a battery operated one for E. If they are covered, I'll have to find something else. :-)

I'm glad the camping went so well, despite the rain. I have only ever gone with one at a time, so your plans seemed pretty intimidating; congrats for pulling it off successfully, especially in the rain!

Danke! My kids having friends we could camp with, and their coming with AWESOME parents who happen to be MY friends as well, makes ALL the difference!

Likewise!

I spaced paying you and Ekk back for the candles; I was so beat yesterday that I didn't even think of it until this afternoon! Ergo, I owe you money!
