I'm his editor, and keep at him to put more depth into his characters, so you'll be happy to know that he goes quite a bit deeper in "Ashes Ascendant", which he's currently revising. :)

LOL. Kevin wrote Ryan as semi-autobiographical. If you are going to be at Pennsic, and would like to meet the man behind the cadet, I'd be happy to introduce you, and get to meet you (finally!) myself while I'm at it! >:)
