It's like I always say. Pay some one a few hundred to a few thousand bucks to find something worng with you.... and they will. That's why I don't believe in check-ups. If something's not right with me, I'm always the first to know and I can decide whether I need a medical opinion. (usually my cousin who is an M.D.) Then if it's serious enough, I can seek professional help. If everything is fine then why ask someone who's getting paid for their answer? The only thing check-ups ever help prevent is HHS or Healthy Human Syndrome. They'll see a blood blister and think it's lymphoma. They'll hear you cough and think it's pnuemonia or lung cancer. Remeber, they slept through 7-8 years of medical school for this paycheck.

I'm surprised. I've always been treated like a hypochondriac and they tell me to go get some over-the-counter stuff or just exercise more.

Also med students don't sleep through their classes. They don't even go. 2 weeks after the semester starts the student parking lot is empty again.
