I feel like it's been forever since I made a not-art post and it's high time, especially as I've been making noise on other people's journals about posting more, commenting more, BEING HERE MORE, BLAH BLAH I'm such a fuckin noisy hypocrite.
Also for my Merlin peeps, narlth posted recently about getting the KMM up and running again and I believe that they're canvassing for new mods to help out. Civil War can't come soon enough. Until then, I'm passing the time by (shocked gasps from nobody) enlisting for everything that'll have me like the Steve Rogers Buchanan Barnes tragedy that I am. LOOK AT MY FUCKIN TRAGEDY OKAY
Is anyone else doing the Stucky Big Bang? Seeing as they're allowing author/artist pre-matched sign-ups I've managed to strongarm a team effort into existence and am currently waiting on tenterhooks for the first draft from my brilliant writer who insists on torturing my box with off-the-cuff commentary and snippets as they write something I'm pretty sure is going to hack into my chest cavity and carve my heart out with the force of a rusty cleaver, but the precision of a surgical scalpel because they're that good and I've somehow tricked them into thinking going into this with me was a good ideaaa haaa ha ha ha ha ah hahahaha let's ride this into the sunset, author, let's ride it till it bleeeeeeeds
But that's what I'm all about now, that's what I'm here for, to cry about geriatric gay soldiers in love and their inability to STAY ALIVE AND TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME AND IN THE SAME MOTHERFUCKING PLACE, FUCK YOU STEVE, FUCK YOU
I'm still pretty wary of Tumblr fests after the last couple of debacles but I WILL DO IT. I WILL DO IT FOR STEVE AND BUCKY. Aaaaaand I'm gonna claim another summary probably since that doesn't happen until May or something, and I'm thirsty, man. I AM THIRSTY AF.
Also in my inbox, the unfolding of a Finn/Poe and possibly an eventual Finn/Poe/Rey story by dragonlady7 that we're having some fun with. I've done a couple of real quick sketches for snippets that she's sent me and Tumblr has quite liked the first one, so that's really cool. The second one will be posted at some point and I'll probably post them here when the story's done too. For now I'm just kinda cheering her on with my pencils *\o/*
Another thing that's going on for me is some pretty serious brainstorming for a T.J Hammond/Mark Watney thing. Probably nobody except dancinbutterfly and me will care about this because she and I are literally in a fandom of two people and there's not even a fucking shoelace for a threeway, but. STILL.
She wrote that inspired and previously non existent The Martian/Political Animals pairing for my Yuletide gift and opened the biggest shitstorm can of worms EVER because now I can't get enough of it, and hers is literally the only story in existence, and if I want her to write me more Imma have to reciprocate with some Mark/T.J lovin of my own, so there's been some braincells rubbing together trying to work out how to make that happen.
I know guys, I fucking know.
Seriously though lookit, MARK WATNEY, THE LONELIEST POTATO AND HAMMIEST PIRATE KING OF MARS and T.J. HAMMOND THE SADDEST GAY PIANIST WHOSE ISSUES HAVE ISSUES.
