I had the exact same reaction. When I saw that ending I was like "Oh no they didn't." (And why do so many shows end with a death? There are other ways of building suspense between seasons.)
I do have to say it's a great cliffhanger. I will not be amused if the show is cancelled though

Exactly. Given she the star of the show, I doubt she's dead, they are fucking with us. It is a great cliffhanger but I'm done with FOX if they cancel this show especially after this ending. But I hope to God we have a quick DVD release with lots of bonus features.

Tommy's pretty-boy face hides a dark soul. And about that warden . . . . BWAHAHAHA!

Well, at least we know what's in the room and who was doing the experiments. But, I'm left with more questions than were solved. Reclusive billionaire Harlan Simmons is still alive or is it someone else in disguise? Why did the warden want him released before May? What does Simmons have to do with the missing civil war gold? What is Stillman's end game?

More and more shows end the season with a death. The CSI shows are big on this. Last year, Rizzoli & Isles jumped on that wagon, too. A couple weeks ago, Southland hinted at death, when Cooper was on the ground, bleeding profusely. The next week, he was back with a big band-aid on his neck. Huge fake-out.

Perhaps, Rebecca will be back thanks to a big band-aid . . . or colloidal silver.
