Reading List 2011 Update

I've decided to include ratings on a 1-10 scale. These are snapshots taken shortly after I've read the book, and my opinion may change over time. I also tend to adjust ratings based on genre and expectations - so a novel that only promises to be fluffy may not be harmed by flaws that would doom a better written but more ambitious literary novel

The Amazing Adventures of Kavelier and Clay has been on my list for so long that I'd forgotten it was on my list. Thanks for the reminder that I need to read that!
