The Goat Cheese from Lecuadia Pizza is fab: GOAT CHEESE Bacon, Red Onions, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Sweet Peppers, Tomatoes, Goat Cheese, Herb Flavored Virgin Olive Oil (No Tomato Sauce) I ordered it with carmelized onions and no sun dried tomatoes, and with basil. MMMMMMM
Yeah. My favorites are boring. But the underlying point is that if there is pizza within 10 feet of me, either I'm getting the pizza or someone (possibly me) will end up injured as i desperately try to do so).
Perhaps it's biased, or perhaps it's because I obviously would make something I love, but I like my own homemade pizza.
It's a thin-crust new York style pizza. Made with homemade tomato sauce with lovely spices, brewed for a minimum six hours. Topped with sprinkling of cheese, enough to coat it but not so thick that it slides off the sauce.
Covered with crumbled bacon, pepperoni, garlic, and basil.
We've been making all kinds of fancy pizzas at home using the basic dough we keep in the fridge. The nice thing about making it at home is then we get to try all kinds of combinations without paying $15-20 per pizza. (though we still sometimes do that when we eat out) I think my favorite one was asparagus, prosciutto, caramelized onions, sundried tomatoes, and cheese. B's favorite combination is bacon, caramelized onions, and bleu cheese. Now I wish we had pizza. Sadly, the problem with cooking is that it takes time. I wish the pizza were here RIGHT NOW. Guess that's why I liked ordering takeout.
