Outside the dorms, early afternoon

Edward has no idea what's going on, but he's bored so he's outside idly kicking the soccer ball around.

[Throw something at the bean. Really. I'm bored, and I need back in the loop like whoa.]

There's a horse out here grazing on the lawn and eyeing the football.

((He's a Swedish horse... It's a "football" to him."))

Edward eyes the horse right back, but doesn't approach it. It is, after all, much bigger than he is.

That would go without saying seeing as how Old Man is a horse.

He takes a few step towards the kid with the ball.

Okay, so it looks like the horse is coming towards him. Edward takes a few large steps back - he hasn't had much dealings with horses and really, getting trampled by an irate equine would definitely not be a good start to the day.

Hermione's on her way back from town, having not seen the bookstore opened. She sees the boy she hasn't met yet, and gives him a little smile hello.

Edward nods at the new girl, idly dribbling the ball. "Uh, h'lo. I haven't seen you around, you new?"

She nods. "I'm Hermione. Hello," she answers. "What's your name?"

"I'm Edward," he responds, kicking the ball up into his hands with a grin. "You play any soccer?"
