Assembled they turned out to be minature cars that, with some improvisation, looked like minature racecars. Sakura had copied her notes from Intro to Magic down a second time to give to Edward so he wouldn't be behind in class. She figured he probably didn't really care, but she could at least offer them.

As she neared the door, she scrunched up one side of her face in a funny expression. From the other side, she could clearly hear... What sounded like small motorized somethings slamming into things. She blinked.

Rrrr-- WHAM! Rrrr-- WHAM!

She turned the knob without bothering to knock, and peered in. "...Ed?"

Edward was seated on his bed, remote control in his hands. A small RC car zipped right out the cracked open door and into the hallway behind Sakura. "Ack!"

Sakura's reaction to the car whizzing under her was similar to Edwards-- only with a little more flailing and throwing of papers. She nearly stepped on the small automobile, and in her efforts not to, overbalanced herself and fell onto her rump in the hall with a cry.

At first, she watched the car until it slammed into the wall across the hall. Then she noticed her papers were littered all over the floor. With another cry, she hurriedly began to pick them up.

Since Edward could not see where the car was at due to Sakura blocking it, he attempted to back it up and ran it into the wall a few more times. Then he gave up, hopped off his bed and went to help Sakura gather up her papers. "This is why you knock," he scolded, crouching down to help pick up the loose pages.

Shawn wandered back in to the room after his visit to Caritas and raised an eyebrow at Ed's activities. "Whatcha up to?"

Ed pointed to the cars on the ground. There were three altogether, although the third was only half-put together. "I got a box," he said. "And there was stuff in it."

"Mystery box?" Shawn nodded in approval. "Nice," he added going to flop down on his bed.

"I never get mail," Edward said, nearly bouncing in place on his bed. "This is fun!"

Alphonse went down to bother his brother again, being the clingy thing he was. Except this time he had a cat that was trying to play escape artist again, so Alphonse now had a kitty in his arms, figuring Cuddles most likely needed to get out some as well. He peered into the room, watching as the car zoomed across the room and rammed into another object that refused to budge. "You look like you're having fun."

"Hey, Al!" Edward said, waving at his younger brother. "Come in here and race cars with me! We can run them into each other!"

"You're gonna end up breaking them," Alphonse pointed out.

"And we can fix them again," Edward snorted. "Oh, c'mon. I've wanted to run them into each other since I put them together."
