The stone I am attempting to create is the "Philosopher's stone." I know it's known to be only a myth, but having hope doesn't hurt. My hypothesis on the stone was that it is composed of one complete period of the periodical table of elements. The stone is said to bypass the law of equivalent exchange, which states that for every gain, something of equal value must be lost.
The anime "Full Metal Alchemist" has some great detail on alchemy. Most of it is true; some of it is kinda twisted to better suit the audience but yeah.

i ve been doin a lil reaserch lately and i ll gots ta say is more power to u, and the day before i wrote that comment "wow" my dad gave m a book that i didn't pick up till i read the name again and it clicked and i came to ur lj to see and it made a connection and i am pretty sure u've read the book i finished it today and i know of the stones Urim and Thummim but ne way all i can say is the hand that wrote all gave me and omen, the book, which like i said before i think u ve read the book so all i gots ta say is Maktub. i am meant to help but i don't know how, and it may sound crazy but i beleive in this book full-heartedly, and the hand has lead me here for sum reason, sumhow i think i am supposed to help but i don't know how....srry i am just rambling on now but ne way i am here...Maktub
