I'm trying to do this "culture" thing I keep telling other people about, but as I feared, there isn't much more I'd want to do in Boston than I would want to do in Greenville - I know none of the local bands or the local digs. I sort of wish I had a local Max to introduce me to college bands, or that the real Max weren't such a goddamn Luddite

If Boston begins to bore you, you can come live with me in St. Louis, as I've been offered the job there with Bed, Bath and Beyond. Thus I'll be there soon provided I don't get a better offer, which Staples in actually in position to do. In which case I'll be moving back to Columbia, SC, in which case you're still welcome to come by should Boston not entertain you.
Also, I got a new car. The Davemobile II is a 2002 Ford Taurus with leather interior, power everything, a sunroof, and is overall a smooth as hell ride. I just need to get my dashboard lobster off my old Neon, which is still in NC.
At any rate, things are finally coming up Milhouse.
