I have only had baaad experiences shipping from canada to the uk. In fact whatever the us postal website says it will cost to ship it double it. Recently it cost me 15.00 to ship a bottle of bpal to the uk when the website (canada post mind you) told me it would be 7.00

Wow! That's shocking! I've sent 5 international packages including 2 to the UK with 5-10 imps, tea, and candy, and it cost me under $3 a package. I wonder why it's so much from Canada?

I ship overseas all the time Lynn. To Canada from South Florida costs me .63 cents and overseas ranges from .63 cents to 2.20 at most (and I believe that was to Switzerland). It only takes a week to get there. Lemme pull my postal receipts and I will confirm the rates. These were 3 imps or less not bottles.

Ok, I am in South Florida - this just gives you ballpark range...

To Sweden : 1.70 (weight 1.20oz)
Canada .63 (weight .80 oz)
Netherlands : 2.55 (weight 2.20 oz)
Great Britain/Northern Ireland (which I believe is the UK) : .84 (weight .90oz)
Australia: 1.80 (weight 1.30oz)
Great Britain: 1.70 (weight 1.20 oz)
Belgium: 1.70 (weight 1.50)

Hope that helps a little.

No, I haven't. It is expensive to insure it. I take my chances or you can offer it to the buyer if they would like to purchase insurance. Make sure to fill out a customs form and keep your postal receipt until they receive the pkg on their end. That way you have proof it was sent.

Most of the packages I've sent to the UK have cost between $1 and $2 to ship (from Illinois).

Remember to put "essential oil" instead of perfume in the customs form or they might not accept it (as perfume usually contains alcohol and this can't be shipped) If you declare a value higher than $20 they more likely will have to pay customs. This is the real market value of the goods, so many people consider this $0 if the item has been used.
