Its such an easy thing to say, but apparently very hard for most people to do. Every day I watch as people search for love in all of the wrong places, expecting to find comfort in another person (regardless of how much that person cares about them), or in some sort of drug, or even in the work that they may invest all of their time into. I'm finally done with the semester and I couldn't be happier. I'm at my parents for a few weeks, at least until the end of the month when I can finally move into the house. As I left the library about a half hour ago, I was greeted with one of the most wonderful settings I could ever hope for: the calm before a storm. Suny Days
Yesterday, (along with today), was really beautiful out, especially compared to the last few months of dreary winter. Yesterday Chris, Dan and I went up to tops to buy some food for the week, then headed down to Elmwood to just walk and enjoy the day. As I was walking though the blizzard that the world knows as Buffalo (It's not always this snowy, I swear!) and just across the street from the Plaza my job is at I looked across the street to see a man with a walking stick coming over a mound of snow that had been plowed aside. This short little entry is just to show anyone who still reads this that I am indeed alive. This semester ended and it was a failure, but not in the regard that I feel I could have done better, but instead because I feel like it was a waste of my time and energy for a "positive" result that I have no interest in achieving.
