And if the mage is hit, his/her spell's usually interrupted... and bosses are smart about this, often attacking the mages with long range attacks or teleport attacks, so yeah... =P

I agree, Tales is pretty awesome. I'll blog about it today or tomorrow as well. Anyway, my idea is to start a new game with Jason and/or Wen, and/or Alan, since we've already done the first disc, so we'll keep Alan until we get to the 2nd disc, and hope he doesn't spoil anything, although the risk is high.
With the new game, I'll try using different characters, and maybe head toward T-type rather than S-type or whatever (more on that in my blog later), or maybe we can play under-leveled, although that might not be a good experience for Jason/Wen. But if we do have a permanent 4-player group, we probably won't be able to get together thaaat often, but that's okay.
We'll probably have to buy another beast memory card now...
