Just finished watching 9 episodes of "Stargate Universe" in a row ... well. not exactly in a row ... over a couple of days. BUT nothing else in-between, so there was no distraction ( Read more... )

Your English is fine. However my German may not be:P

As a person who likes the new direction Universe is taking except for maybe Wray which is sad as I love Ming Na. I agree except for. I was getting tired of the old format.

I'm glad you too like the new direction, Universe is taking.
I wasn't so tired of the old format, I would have loved to see more series of SGA, although I agree that SG-1 was quite done.

hey! Here via SGU Desitny comm. Your English is pretty good :)

I have really been enjoying this new show too. I especially agree with your comments about it being cool that these people are not the *right* ones. Chloe and TJ being perfect examples of that. (I mean even in the latest episode with the Psych evals. Tj had one undergrad course in psych. *I* have had one undergrad course in psych! Tj is out of her element)

Rush is also very interesting. The whole messed up insentive, but brilliant scientist thing is neat. And Greer is also ineresting to me.

Glad to here from another Sgu fan!
:D

I'm glad you're enjoying the show too.
You are right about the Psych Evals, it seemed so strage to see TJ in that situation. She knew that her skills are insufficient and the crew seemed to know that too. It looked like they were all playing a game. Some lied to her, some just said "something". It seemed like they just wanted to avoid a conflict. *g*
I'm looking forward to wahtever they will make out of that.

I love that they have taken these people and thrown them into the unknown. In a way they all feel helpless,
I absolutely agree. The thrilling thing to watch is, how they all cope with their helplessness in so many different ways.

I'm continually surprised at the differing views on Rush.
Yeah ... me too. Strange how many viewpoints there are.
Reading your thoughts about the character make me think I should do some musing on some of them and write another post about the different characters. *g*
I agree with you that Rush is in no way insensitive. But I think he knows that letting yourself fall into an emotional abyss won't help at all.

Interesting thoughts about Eli. Maybe I should reconsider my thoughts about him. He seems to be worth a second look ... as they all are ... in some way.

Well ... yeah ... I will do some musing on the characters. :D

I agree with this. He doesn't have an emotional attachment to these people yet and he may not let that happen until he knows who he can trust and who is going to accept their fate of being stuck on Destiny probably for the rest of their lives. Also, there is the greater good factor which is big with Rush. He's willing to sacrifice one person, so that the majority will survive. I call it the "Spock Philosophy" sometimes. lol. Although I don't think Rush is willing to sacrifice himself, which is good, because the people need him alive more than anyone else on Destiny.

I love this show. I don't understand all the hate for it. :/
