Eeeep! Hi! How are you? Is good to see you back again. :D
The only things I've read that have made a significant impact on the shape of my world are the complete romances of Chrétien de Troyes. My world is now thesis-shaped!
I'm great thanks. I'm four weeks from opening a medieval exhibition at work (chaos chaos!). I thought you'd approve. I have various 'pull-out-and-read' folders which include a kid's version of some of the Arthurian Romances (currently being composed by a colleague of mine) and an adult version talking about various sources. Yay!
(Also a 12-ft castle and a chapel with stained glass windows and illuminated manuscripts. No point in doing things in half measures!)
Good luck with the thesis. I'm happy to do cheering along whenever you need it. I know that there are days when it feels like hitting a brick wall and glorious moments of sunshine when things suddenly fit together and days when you can't even bear to look at it.
I've deferred for a semester, rather than face the thesis-monster right at this moment. I may opt for deferring next semester, or just doing one unit, depending on how horrified I am by the thought of returning.
Oh dear, the thesis-monster! Have you got plans for it, or have you hidden from it? It's good that you have the options to pace yourself. How is the course structured? (am just nosy!)

I am firmly stuck in the world o' Merlin still, and doing my RL thing.

Glad to hear Merlin's fandom is still being spurred along :)

In RL, things have happened recently that mean I know see a councillor once every two weeks, unless I need to see him more often
