Darling I'm glad to here that things are on the up. & that you are however out & about. You should make something for the people who harbor you. Or at least that's what I do.

Perhaps to relieve some of the guilt you could sit them down and just tell them all of the things you said here. That you appreciate all that they've done for you and you feel bad for not contributing, but you're trying to get your life together right now.

i have been calling him variations of bunny/rabbit/etc for nearly two years now. that's just what he reminds me of! a silly little bunny face.
