Joan rocks! Joan's coiffure rocks! Joan's entire being rocks. Just hope she (and all the female characters) buy/s a bit more of a feminist clue this season.

Thanks for the captures! I love this show- my favorite thing on TV now. Alas, I can't get the missus to watch it. So I sit and bask in its smart design alone in the dark corner of the living room. It feels like the early 60's again, a booth in the back in the corner in the dark. Don't you feel a little 'Belle de Jour' coming on?

Yes, I completely in love with it too! Nothing comes within a country mile.
Alas, I can't get the missus to watch it.
Oh wow, that's tough. Shall we stage an intervention? Or does it stem from a moral objection to the often-hard-to-digest anti-woman/feminist subject matter?

Ha! Yes, totally. Betty was such the Madonna/Whore this episode. Her barely concealed raging libido fascinates probably more than any other storyline. I still giggle every time I think about that glorious 'washing-machine-on-spin-cycle' scene from last season. Splendid stuff.
Ta, matey! Apart from anything, the production values and attention to period detail of this show are second to none and yes, it's very, very pretty to look at. Drop something from your schedule, Lysachan, I implore you. This show can not be missed! Not to overstate too much but I think it's simply genius.
