how is it your fault though? did you tell the owner that some random dude off the street walked in and slammed the door on the way out? the insurance should cover it or something.

It's our fault because one of the rules there is to lock the door even when you're there because "crazies will sometimes just waltz in off the street because they hear a band playing." We have now tested and proven this to be true. We can also add to the rule (...and may damage some property when you tell them to leave."

You can look in your sent messages folder and see the status of the message you sent. It'll usually said "Unread", "Read", "Deleted....but you probably knew that.
