have you guys been having major foreclosure/shortsale issues happening, i was reading in the paper that 1 in 56 people have foreclosed this year.

We never service the loans long enough for that to happen. We sell them off to larger banks.

OK, so I heard on the news on the way in that Countryside is having financial troubles from all this stuff; hypothecially, if they went belly up from undercapitalization what would happen to our mortgage? Do we get the house for free?

Another company will buy Countrywide's loans at a discount and you'll still have to pay on it. Bummer huh?
